No glue against your skin. Collars and cuffs hold their shape through repeated wear — no bubbling, no yellowing. Naturally breathable and built to last.
Our pattern philosophy, drafted in-house through both flat drafting and three-dimensional body modelling, so a garment is cut for the way a body moves rather than the way cloth lies on a table. The shoulder sits at the bone, the chest does not pull, the back lies flat. Not slim. Not boxy. Precise.
Every structural seam — side seams, armholes, sleeves — is sewn twice, so it will not fray, pucker or pull across a decade of wear.
The shoulder seam is eased in by hand, a stitch at a time, so the yoke follows the natural slope of the shoulder with none of the tension a machine leaves behind. Each sleeve is then set by hand, eased into the armhole at the angle the arm naturally hangs — it falls straight at rest and moves freely with you, never dragging the shoulder forward.
Together, these are the seams that carry the whole garment — and the ones we will not hurry.
Because the collar is built on sewn-in interlining, it breaks in a natural roll across the neckband — a line no pressed or fused collar can hold.
Designed, cut and finished in a single New York studio. Nothing is outsourced; every stitch is placed in the same room as the first sketch.
Genuine mother-of-pearl or natural horn buttons, hand-sewn with silk thread over a hand-formed thread shank — a clean, dimensional finish that holds each button clear of the cloth, for durability, refinement and longevity.
Every buttonhole is worked by hand in silk, its keyhole edge wrapped closed — about twenty minutes of handwork per hole. The wrap gives it a natural give and keeps it from fraying through hundreds of fastenings.
Machine stitched with absolute precision at 24 to 28 stitches per inch. This high stitch density creates ultra fine and delicate seam lines — the hem sits nearly invisible when tucked in, and side seams so soft they seem to disappear.
Hand-sewn buttons and buttonholes with silk thread for durability, refinement, and longevity. Each button is cross-stitched with a thread shank for a clean, dimensional finish.
